Elizabeth Namei is a Reference & Instruction Librarian at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where she serves as the liaison and selector for U.S. and British History, and American Studies and Ethnicity.  Since joining USC, the use and performance of USC’s discovery tool, Summon, has been one of her main research interests, presenting on it at SCELC, CARL, and ACRL, about it.  Prior to moving to Southern California, Elizabeth worked as a Reference Librarian at LaGuardia Community College, City University of New York. She has also worked at the University of New Orleans and The College of DuPage Libraries. She received her MLIS from Simmons College in 2000 and her M.A. in British & American Literature from Hunter College in 2012.
