MT02: Collections Workflow and Communication Strategies from Start to Finish for Small and Mid-Size Academic Libraries

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Collection decisions are not made in isolation, and communications and efficient workflows are essential, but challenging. Natasha Cooper will moderate this lively panel where fellow librarians Beverly Geckle and Judi Guzzy will describe their workflow from the point of identifying and evaluating a resource, to adding it to the collection, to analyzing use and making a renewal decision. The panel will share communication points across the library and step-by-step processes , as well as how decisions are tracked using Intota and outside of Intota. Suggestions/best practices from presenters and audience members to share post-conference will be welcome.
